Founded by Local Agencies Serving Immigrants, a coalition of settlement agencies in Ottawa, World Skills is a non-profit employment centre that supports job seekers at all stages of their career journey while maintaining a specialized expertise in helping newcomers successfully integrate into the Canadian labour market.

We provide employment competency building, job search training and support, career coaching, language training, and other employment services that help individuals achieve meaningful and sustainable employment.

World Skills connects talented job seekers with employers across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. We partner with employers to understand their workforce needs, identify qualified candidates, and facilitate successful hiring, with particular expertise in connecting employers with internationally trained professionals whose skills and experience strengthen Canada’s workforce.
