The Association des francophones de la région de York (AFRY) is a not-for-profit organization that has been serving Francophone and Francophile residents of York Region since 1994.
AFRY offers a wide range of accessible, high-quality services designed to support individuals and families at every stage of their journey. Our programs include settlement and integration services for newcomers, employment support, community programs and events, mental health support, licensed French-language childcare services, and summer camps for children.
Through its Employment Services, AFRY provides personalized support to French-speaking job seekers, including career guidance, employment counselling, résumé and cover letter assistance, interview preparation, job-search strategies, referrals to community resources, and support connecting with employers and training opportunities.
With service locations and community partnerships across Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Aurora, Newmarket, Markham and East Gwillimbury, AFRY is committed to promoting inclusion, strengthening the Francophone community, and helping clients successfully integrate into the labour market and the broader community.
